Private investigation ends in blackmail
Prosperity hired a private eye to look into Equinox Partners. The private eye found something. Now Equinox is down a rocket.
Low Earth OrbitIt started as a routine background check. That is what Prosperity told the investigator, anyway. Six weeks and one very thick folder later, a fully fueled Equinox rocket was quietly towed off its pad.
Nobody will say what was in the folder. Two people at Equinox told us it was "nothing." A third told us it was "basically nothing." A fourth hung up.
We gave them the rocket because we are generous people. That is the only reason.
Prosperity says it doesn't know anything about a folder, a rocket, or an investigator. Their newest hangar has a rocket in it that is painted a suspiciously fresh shade of gold.
Equinox's whole thing is friendship. Come for the friendships, stay for the money. Right now they are short on both.
