Prosperity's mission director put a heat shield up as collateral at a casino. It landed on red.

Around 1am on Friday, Prosperity's mission director ran out of chips. He offered the casino a brand new heat shield instead. The casino said yes. The ball said red.
He said it was a sure thing. He said that about the last three bets too.
The heat shield was supposed to go on the Venus mission. Prosperity says the mission will go ahead without it, and that Venus is "probably not that hot." Venus is that hot.
